Summary
There are many things that bother Ehnrenreich, how some people raise money to support breast cancer but somehow the money never makes it to them. She always shes that those that have cancer are basically known as "battling" or "fighting" cancer. Plus those with AIDS are known as "patients" or "victims".
Then the author goes on to explain her experiences with Chemotherapy and how it ended up changing her. She explains the hair loss and many other things. Plus she also says how her life has not been the same since she got diagnosed with cancer. Then she goes on to explain how it changed her life in the bad ways and how it affected her life for the best and what it improved.

Spike's Customers
As I first walk into Spike’s Junkyard Dogs on 840 Bedford St. Fall River, if you look to your left you will see the register where you order and pay for your food. Then if you look to your right you will actually be able to see the workers making your food. Then when your food is all done they will place it on a counter near the register and call out your order. Then when you have you walk towards the soda machine which is located somewhat towards the back on the left hand side wall. After you get your beverage you can grab some condiments that are located near the soda machine. Also there are some napkins you can grab beside the soda machine as well. The straws, forks, knives, spoon, and the containers to put either your ketchup or your mustard are all also located near the soda machine. Then after that you can pick from ten tables at the bottom or from four tables if you go up the ramp. There are two plasma screen T.V.s and a lot of things all over the walls. They have posters, signs, and some menus if people would like to look at them. Some of the signs are really funny and cool to look at. Some say “Clean Paws Equals Tasty Dogs” and that sign is located near the sink where some people wash their hands before and after they eat. My favorite sign says “Warning Hot Dog Addiction Possible” and it has a big warning sign on it. But on your way out of Spike’s you will see the trash can on your right hand side and beside it is the sink to wash your hands before you leave.
So that’s where I found these interesting groups of people. But there are classes to these people if you really look at them. The three classes are the upper class, middle class, and lower class. The class we see more often at Spike’s I would have to say would be the middle class. These classes of people are different because of the way they dress, the way they speak, their hygiene, the way they use their money, and the way some of them eat.
The upper class is somewhat unique in its own way. They dress really proper with a nice button down shirt that is tucked into their Sunday casual looking pants with a belt. Then they have a nice pair of black shoes to go alone with the pants and the shirt. They also come in with really nice haircuts never forget to shave they basically try looking good all the time. There are a lot of ways that the upper class uses their money. They buy really nice expensive things off the menus. Plus they either pay in hundred dollar bills or credit card. When it comes time for them to eat they have a lot of manners. They always grab their napkins and tuck one into their shirt at the top. Then they grab another one and rest it on their lap. Then they usually have one maybe two beside them and every time they take a bite of something they always end up wiping their mouths. When they come up to order they are so polite that every other word that comes out of their mouths is please and thank you.
Then comes the middle class people that we see very often. They usually come in wearing either a t-shirt or a hoodie. They wear jeans or some wear shorts nothing really to special. They also buy good things off the menus but they are more cautious when it comes to the pricing of things because they ask a lot of questions on the prices. They usually pay with twenty dollar bills and some even pay with at Debit/Atm card. When they eat they use napkins but not for their shirt or on their lap they just have them beside them. Some middle class people have good manners but there are some that talk to you no respect. For example some will say “thank you” and some will just walk away while you are trying to ask them something or they will say “yep thanx”. They have good hygiene when it comes to their hair but some when it comes to shaving they just don’t care about it and it looks really bad. But for some people I guess it’s just the way they like to be and it makes them comfortable.
Then we come to the lower class people who really don’t care about anything but their money. They really don’t care for the way they are dressed or the way they smell. They come in wear rips all over their shirts some all over their pants and their cloth all dirty. It’s just so nasty to see and stand beside them. They really don’t have too much money to pick whatever they want and many if not all basically just pick from the dollar menu. They also don’t use and napkins when they eat their food. They either use their sleeve of their shirt of they just wipe it on their hands. Plus they don’t wash their hands they just end up wiping their hands on their pants. They also come in not caring how their hair looks like some of them haven’t shaved in like three years. They have no manner what’s so ever they will just walk away from you while you try asking them something. Plus they love to swear a lot even if there are little kids around because they just don’t care for anyone but themselves which is very rude and not appropriate for some places.
I know that you are reading this and thinking that I am basically judging a book my it’s cover but it’s really just the way these people come across to you. This is the way I see the people that are coming into Spike’s and ordering food. But I know there are many groups of people out in the world but these are the unique people that caught my attention.
